I can’t help myself around her.
Any professionality I have goes straight out of the window and into the river below.
I know I’m staring as she battles her inner wilderness.
I would love to see what else I can do to get that look from her.
My Bear is nudging me toward her, increasing my protective urge over her.
And I know it is my absolute sole duty in life to guard her.
But looking at her while trying to solve her problem is too distracting.
Her body sends too many thoughts through my head, none of them professional…
They say that muscle isn’t the way to solve problems. But they’re wrong.
I’ll flex every single one of them to protect and save her.
I’ll fight fire with fire if that’s what it takes.
And once I’ve done that, I’ll give in to my Bear.
And I’ll let him do exactly what he wants to her...
