A novel by

When one of Molly’s friends collapses on the sidewalk after his dog runs away, Doodle breaks the rules as well as part of the fence to get the boy help. The boy’s dog is supposed to be a diabetic alert dog, but Doodle’s never seen a service dog act like that. Molly brings her mother—a detective—into the investigation. As they work together, they discover the boy’s untrained dog is just the tip of a deeper crime, involving many dogs and desperate owners.
Meanwhile, someone starts vandalizing Molly’s yard, each incident more dangerous, and it’s up to Molly and her best friend to figure out who—before the attacker does something worse.

‘This series has been so much fun! Doodle's take on life is charmingly straightforward. He cracks me up! Molly and her scrapes keep me in suspense. And I love the ethnic diversity of the characters. Every book teaches me something new about dogs, their trainers, and their capabilities. . .’ —Jenny, Amazon

‘Doodle is quite possibly the most entertaining narrator I've found in quite some time.’— Susan Holmes, Amazon
