At the End of the Rainbow

Escaping from an unhappy love affair, Alex finds new employment helping Julian, an established author, to finish writing a non-fiction book. He is partially paralysed and Alex lives-in, getting to know Julian, his housekeeper Annie and various other friends and family. He is confined to a wheelchair, and although there is a chance that new medical treatment might restore his mobility, he goes on punishing himself. His wife was killed outright in the accident that left him partially immobile. Alex finds it easy to forget her former boyfriend, but Julian seems to be clinging to the past. Can they both put the past behind them, recognize that fate offers them a second chance to fall in love and build a lasting future together?
