Commissioned to assess the Midland Pottery Company's financial prospects, Craig Baines faces an angry manager - Sharon Vaughan has had no warning of his arrival. The workforce soon accepts their well-meaning visitor, even though they know his findings could result in dismissals. When Craig detects that someone is pinching china and pitches in with Sharon to help solve the crime, she becomes increasingly aware of her attraction to him.
