OB delves into the world of the out of body experience known as astral projection, the minds ability to project itself outside the body. Disabled police veteran John Connor lives a quiet life of isolation from his wheelchair in rural Maine. When bizarre dreams begin to haunt Connor, he seeks the aid of a dreams expert who recognizes them as the gift of astral projection. Together, the dreams expert and Connor cultivate Connor’s gift of OB and take his powers deep into the world of the paranormal. Only then does Connor realize why the gift of OB has surfaced at that time. A brutal serial killer is on the loose and tracking Connor’s ex-wife, who is the judge that sentenced the killer to prison. Connor, still deeply in love with his ex-wife, must find a way to stop the killer before he kills again by using his powers of astral projection. In a stunning climatic showdown, Connor, in projected form comes face to face with his ex-wife’s tormentor, and uses his powers of OB to stop him before he kills Connor’s ex-wife. Connor is victorious, but his physical form is left in a coma. In a touching, tear-filled moment, Connor’s ex-wife realizes that she still loves him and that if anyone can bring him back from the other side it is her.
