A late night at work means bad things for Bay Winchester when she’s attacked from behind and knocked out before she can use her magic to protect herself. Upon waking, she finds herself in a dreamscape with a woman she doesn’t know.

The woman in the other bed has been in a persistent vegetative state for years. No one knows how she got there. Nobody knows how it happened. All Bay does know is that she’s still out there, somewhere, and Bay is going to help her.
Bay’s search takes her deep, and what she finds isn’t what she expects. There are different types of monsters. This one might change the entire course of Bay’s life … forever.
