Twelve years after Charlie’s last adventure, we find that walking disaster, Lord Brampton, has been at it again, quite literally launching our hero on the most epic odyssey of his life, this time into the frozen wastelands of the Great White North.

Abandoned and believed lost in the high arctic, things look grim for our hero as the long journey back to Brampton Manor seems unlikely. Still, we can take heart, for a Smithers is nothing if not resolute, even when confronted by the harshest climate on the planet.

With a stiff upper lip, Charlie sets forth, first as a guest among the Inuit, then as a slave of the Dene, until being sold to the Hudson’s Bay Company for the princely sum of four bags of flour, two knives, two rifles, and a cast-iron cooking pot. However, having regained his freedom, Charlie’s troubles have only just begun, eventually landing him in the middle of an insurrection, and incredibly, bringing him face to face with his past.

Sought after by amorous women and angry aboriginals alike, Charlie’s latest adventure will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
