Last time I saw De Sang, Bacall had put a Sun-Eater round through his shoulder and called it done. Apparently, though, we’d miscounted. He's gone underground in Paris, into the bone-stacked dark below the catacombs, and he's cutting holes in the Ways so that older things can come through.
And my Gestalt's gone quiet down there… Hayworth’s refueling me with her mouth and is being pretty filthy about it. Bacall keeps me alive with her rifle, and Raven’s warming up to the idea there might be more between us.
And now a five-foot-one blonde Kirin with golden horns who cracks the masonry every time she gets excited is suddenly on the scene. But Hayworth has a voice inside her she hasn't heard yet. And De Sang has a plan I intend to end.
