System Keeper: Fireball for the WIn
(2026)(The second book in the System Keeper series)
A novel by Ned Castor and Cassius Lange
Just when Red thought he could finally sit back and have a good nap, the world decided it wants to end.
Red had a simple plan for world domination:
Red had a simple plan for world domination:
- Turn a ruined keep into the unassailable fortress of Bastion? Check.
Crush Sarren and his other Exiles until they beg for mercy? The jury is still out on that one.
Destroy all the Fallen only to find out the world is now about to end? Massive check.
The honeymoon phase of ruling Bastion is over. Sarren, a fellow Exile with a god complex, is gathering an army of Exiles so he can finally get revenge on Red. With so much more than just loot on the line, both are in a race to get new allies and destroy all the Fallen to push the world into a level-up.
Things are never as simple as they seem, though. The ancient Havendar have returned with their own ideas for a good time, and they want revenge on the System Collective. Caught between two major factions, Red does what he does best: chug fireballs at a problem until it disappears. Only this time, the problem doesn’t go away and it’s right on his doorstep.
Even DK is worried. If Red dies and Sarren succeeds, there won’t be anyone left to torture. And that is simply unacceptable.
The first round was for a place to live, but the second round is for his new home.
