Christmas Escape With The Grumpy Mountain Man
(2026)(A book in the Grumpy Christmas Mountain Man Season 2 Romance series)
A novel by Cora Lakewood
One double-booked cabin. One grumpy mountain man. One Christmas neither of them saw coming.
Former Special Forces soldier Briggs Fenwick came to Ridgewood Falls looking for peace, quiet, and one last chance to figure out what comes next. Sharing his Christmas hideaway with a sunshine-loving stranger wasn't part of the plan.
Neither was falling for her.
After her carefully planned future falls apart just weeks before Christmas, Jocelyn Fairchild escapes to her cousin's mountain cabin to heal. Instead, she finds six feet four inches of broody ex-military muscle already living there... and he's about as thrilled to have company as she is.
With a blizzard trapping them together, Briggs and Jocelyn strike a temporary truce. She fills the cabin with twinkling lights, Christmas cookies, and holiday traditions. He keeps the fire burning, clears the snow, and quietly protects her in ways she never expected.
But Christmas magic can't stop the real world forever.
When Briggs is offered one last mission that could take him away for good, he'll have to decide if duty is still where he belongs... or if home has been waiting for him in the mountains all along.
Christmas Escape With The Grumpy Mountain Man is a steamy, instalove mountain man romance featuring forced proximity, one cozy cabin, a protective ex-military hero, holiday magic, found family, and a happily ever after guaranteed.
