Sawyer Whitlock is a master woodworker. His hands are his livelihood, his identity, and his pride. But lately, his hands are betraying him. A tremor is stealing his precision, and he’s hiding it from everyone—until Nia walks into his shop.

Nia is an Occupational Therapist who solves problems for a living. She doesn’t see a broken man; she sees a workflow that needs adjusting. She forces her way into his shop, designing jigs and tools that allow him to work despite the tremor. She offers him a way to keep his dignity, but Sawyer is suspicious.

Tensions are high at Tide & Timber. There’s a leak in the company, and Sawyer is convinced Nia is involved. He tries to push her away with accusations and gruff silence, but Nia refuses to leave. As they work late nights in the sawdust, the trust between them grows into something terrifyingly real. When the true saboteur is revealed, Sawyer has to learn that his worth isn't in what he builds, but in who he lets hold his hand.
