When a new kingdom rises, whose fate is bound to it?
Ragnhild Hallgrímsdóttir has one duty: keep her chieftain alive. But when he drags her to Ásgard to demand his future from the three Norns, even Ragnhild may not be able to save him from his own arrogance.
Beneath the branches of Yggdrasil, standing between her chieftain and the wrath of the goddesses themselves, Ragnhild draws the attention of powers no mortal should take lightly.
As war looms and one king rises to end the age of petty kings, her chieftain's hunger for gold and glory drags his men toward the fate he refuses to see. Ragnhild can only hope the Norns' favor will be enough to weave a different thread for herself.
A Twist of Threads is a standalone short story set in the Atlantis Outcasts universe, where honor, hubris, and the will of the gods collide in the shadow of Yggdrasil.
Genre: Fantasy
