Three months ago, my kids left for college and I lost my job and ended up sleeping on my sister’s couch because I had nowhere else to go.
Now I’m working for a cleaning company, and they assigned me to clean a billionaire’s mansion. If I messed this up, I was done.

But his daughter buried her face in my shoulder and whispered, ‘Please don’t make her leave, Daddy.’
He looked at his daughter's little arms wrapped around my neck, then quietly said,
‘Do you have any experience as a nanny? It’s five hundred a day to start, but you’ll have to live here.’
