After a night spent fighting a scourge of villainy and nightmarish creatures, Logan Hale has secured a temporary peace in the city of Beldenridge, but the threat of violence remains. The mercurial enemy known as the Wojiin are far more insidious than previously imagined, and Logan intends to restore the city’s standing army. Before he can do that, he must travel a four days’ ride south to Vantlintown in the hopes of acquiring much needed weaponry. And so, accompanied by a group of rangers and a mysterious prophet, he sets out in a race to equip his army before the Wojiin strike again.
