(1973)
A novel by

Robbing trains may seem simple, but in fact it takes care and a certain amount of luck. For instance, if you have a diversion of the line which makes the trains keep to a walking pace, then your chances are improved. Jonathan Blake did not arrive at the farm to find out about trains, but to contact a very secret person. But the farm was besieged, and it seemed that nobody could get out of it until the train robbery had taken place. Blake found a way out, but it was far more dangerous than staying in and waiting.
