Who says that Vampires and Werewolves can't get along?

Paulie Vergen is a Vampire living the grind of life until the fateful day that a newly infected Werewolf landed on his doorstep. All Paulie wanted was peace and quiet, but life didn't often seem to care about his plans. He's now faced with helping the poor Werewolf navigate through the Underworld in order to find the help that he needs. Unfortunately, there is much more to this journey than they'd anticipated. The Gnomes are at war, the portal system is erratic at best, the Werewolves are less than cooperative, riding in an Ogre-run trolley isn't as fun as it sounds, and somebody has hired an assassin to make sure that they never reach their destination at all! Paulie comes to find that the quiet life is not all it's cracked up to be, but he also learns that his hatred for Werewolves has been based solely on propaganda. It seems that Vampires and Werewolves can be friends after all. "Overall, an entertaining read with great skills ... fantastic voice! Really enjoyed it." -Judge, 22nd Annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards.Fans of Monty Python and Discworld will find a brand new playground in the Tales From the Land of Ononokin series.
INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR: Q: What makes the Tales From the Land of Ononokin series special? A: I had just finished watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy and was thinking how much fun it would be to create a fantasy world of my own that brought in a very strange mix of our present-day cultures and those of the Middle Ages. I also wanted to alter the myths regarding standard fantasy races around a bit. I essentially turn normal fantasy on its head wherever possible, and it makes each book a laugh-out-loud blast. Q: So, why should readers give these books a try? A: Because Tales From the Land of Ononokin is a wonderful world to play in. It has comedy, interesting characters, tons of world elements to discover, and a never-ending supply of story ideas. Plus, it's not politically correct. It's also not intended for the kiddies, which means that you'll get mild adult humor thrown into the mix as well. ...and have I mentioned that the main wizard in the first story has to get a bit sloshed in order to do magic? Come on... that's funny! Tales From the Land of Ononokin Fantasy eBook Categories:
