The whole arena watched their first kiss.
Neither knew it was the beginning of forever.

In Maple Crossing, gossip travels fast. Unfortunately for Brayleigh Bennett, video travels even faster.

By the time she made it home from a disastrous date at a Chicago Phoenixes game, footage of her kissing a complete stranger had spread everywhere. Brayleigh had returned to Maple Crossing to help save her father’s struggling marina—not to become the mystery woman from the kiss cam with Lincoln Slade, the Phoenixes’ notoriously grumpy enforcer.

Lincoln wasn’t looking for forever. Between hockey, returning from a ten-game suspension, and raising his eight-year-old niece, he barely had room for right now. He’d only meant to save Brayleigh from being humiliated in front of an entire arena. Kissing her was impulsive. Walking away without asking her name was just plain stupid.

But they both assumed they’d never see each other again.

Then Lincoln pulled up to Bennett Marina and found the woman he hadn’t been able to forget.

Brayleigh was sunshine, and Lincoln was the complete opposite, but the more their lives overlapped, the harder it became to dismiss that kiss as a mistake. Especially when Brayleigh began fitting into his and Hazel’s lives as if she''d always belonged there, giving Lincoln a glimpse of the forever he’d never allowed himself to want.

Neither of them planned on falling in love. But forever had a way of finding you when you least expected it—especially in a town too small to hide.
