The Other Side of the Blanket

Only months after receiving the deed to Grant House, Gi-Gi is informed that the trust fund has been frozen. The reason for the legal action is a woman who claims to be Gi-Gi's sister and entitled to half of the estate. Faced with the reality of poverty the relatives brew depression coffee and turn off the lights, Gi-Gi's half sister is wearing new designer clothes. Hoping to clear up the matter of the woman's parentage, Gi-Gi searches the internet for her parents only to find them on her doorstep. Unfortunately her father doesn't deny the woman's claim. When the sibling is murdered in Grant House, the police arrest Gi-Gi's father with Gi-Gi being the other chief suspect. The relatives must act fast to secure the release of Lincoln Grant and to prevent the sale of Grant House.
