Marriage is difficult enough on its own. Then add that Cassie now has to pull off a political marriage between her best friend and the local elven leaders. Now things get dicey.
Fortunately for Cassie, she has made preparations. Able to pose as the Groom, Princess, Lead Magic Instructor, along with being able to blend in to take on multiple roles at once, the grand political wedding that will determine her Guild's status, should be easy.
Unfortunately, things are never as simple as they appear. Everything from political sabotage, to outright war is both expected and prepared for, yet are their preparations enough? There are still elements that even Cassie cannot account for, new weapons the likes of which Biprism has never seen are in play. Additionally, Cassie has somehow gained the attention of an all seeing eldritch horror whose ultimate goal is still unknown. All of this causes chaos and confusion, two things Cassie excels best at.
