Throughout the world, legends and myths about Vampires, Shifters, and more exist. Most are believed to be the product of Human imagination.
What if they weren’t?
Long ago, before recorded history, a race called The Ancients possessed multiple Paranormal attributes. When these Ancient beings took Human mates, some, but not all, of their innate abilities remained in their offspring. Over thousands of generations, what we now know as Shifters, Witches, Faries, and more all evolved separately from this ancient source.
Hidden from the Human world, some Ancients still reside in secret, watching for those that possess the Ancient Gene. Their objective is to protect their kind and the other Paranormal beings that exist in secret to this day.
