Nikita Lalwani recommends
Caledonian Road (2024)
Andrew O'Hagan
"Caledonian Road is a remarkable feat of imaginative empathy, panoramic and witty, a Dickensian dream that blazes with profundity and philosophical inquiry. It is O'Hagan's best novel yet."
The Family Clause (2020)
Jonas Hassen Khemiri
"A beautiful study of familial need and mess, in which the universal and the particular play footsie with each other. Deft, artful, but above all insightful till it hurts, this is Khemiri’s best yet."
