When the magical entity sends out a second surge of magic exactly 20 years after the first, I just so happen to be in the presence of a haywire magical anomaly - and the most powerful super in the city, who sacrifices himself to save me.
Now I've got my own powers that I need to hold down, and they're growing faster than I could possibly imagine. If I want any hope of staying alive and carrying on the legacy of the legend that saved me, I'll need to team up with the beautiful super-heroine protecting my neighborhood and her stunning tech-savvy friend in order to make something of myself.
And as for mercy? Yeah, I'm not about that. As far as I'm concerned, there are much more permanent solutions to dealing with bad guys.
