It is the Christmas season, and Anne Troyer is quite happy with her life. She has been on her rumspringa for almost two years now. She is courting a wonderful man named David Herschberger in the Englischer world. They have known each other since they were children, and both believe that they were very fortunate to meet again later in life. David is Amish too, but moved out of the Amish community at the age of ten when his father forced him and the rest of his family to leave in anger.
