New Friends, Same Ol' Problems / All New York City Alleys Smell Like Pee: 17-18

(2023)
(The ninth book in the Bad Priest series)
A collection of stories by

My name is Cole Bannen and I'm a recovering priest. Eight years in prison will do that to you. But I’ve been out of jail for less than a day and I find myself falling back into old habits.

Which mostly consists of phony exorcisms.

A long time ago, I was warned about the dangers of messing around with such things. I paid no attention, because I don't even believe in possession.

Welp, I was wrong and I messed up bad -- and now, with a demon living inside my head, I've gone from being a mediocre priest to a bad priest.

I'm just hoping there's enough good in me left to help some hapless souls before I get dragged down to the pits of Hell where I belong.

BAD PRIEST is a serial novel. Two new episodes will be released every Tuesday (ish--give me a break here). Each set of episodes (2) is approximately 30 pages long or 5000+ words. They are best enjoyed if read in order.

In this set...

Episode 17 -- New Friends, Same Ol' Problems
Being the hero isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Sometimes you need some friends to swoop in and miraculously save the day... only to try and kill you afterwards.

Episode 18 -- All New York City Alleys Smell Like Pee
Well, it's true, isn't it? The internet says so, so it must be true.

WARNING: This story is irreverant, violent, sarcastic, and pretty much guaranteed to offend. Perfect for fans of the movie Constantine and the show/graphic novel Preacher. For mature audiences only.

Genre: General Fiction
