The Krazny Connection

(1978)
A novel by

When Wilson D. Bollinger was found dead in his car at the foot of a cliff, Homicide Captain Homer Clay was required to conduct one of his laissez-faire investigations. Captain Clay's indolent pursuit of the case was enlivened by the discovery that the deceased had lived far beyond the means provided by the Twombley Foundation. It all became rather complicated when invoices from non-existent firms were found in Bollinger's safe - and Bollinger's widow, who described him as a stinker, was no help.
