I destroyed everything he owns.
He’ll destroy everything I am.

You know him as Van Andreas…if you know him at all.

Bad boy and all-terrain skate god, fallen from what little grace he once had.  His emphasis on god.  Everyone else’s: firmly on bad.

I knew him before he was either.

But I believe nature can heal almost anything, including nasty tempers, broken spirits…and numb, hollow hearts.  Even Sullivan Durham-Andresco isn’t beyond saving.

What does Van believe in?  I’ll get back to you on that, because right now all signs point to absolutely nothing.  Unless you count his daily worship at the altar of Despising Juni Summers with every fractured bone in his body.

I also believe in karma.  So when I accidentally send Van’s temporary home and possessions to a watery grave, I swear I’ll take him wherever he needs to go. I’ll replace what I can, when I can.  I’ll share my home-on-wheels with him until my debt’s repaid.

I promise him I’ll make things right.

He’ll make me regret that promise the rest of my life.
