The only thing Lezli Monroe hates more than surprises is sad boy music.
As the lead singer and songwriter for the wildly popular all-girl punk band Slip Stitch, Lezli has grown a tough skin from years of working with her record label but she has also grown accustomed to getting her way. The entire group is excited about their upcoming tour, which will finish with a massive show in their hometown of Chicago, but when Lezli discovers that their homecoming has been double booked and their label has no intention of correcting the error, she takes it on herself to sort things out.
Unfortunately for Lezli, when it comes to stubbornness she's second only to Evan Marsh, the frontman of Notochord. Sparks fly when she tries to convince him to let them have the booking, but it isn't until they end up stranded in the same small town that their emotions truly catch fire.
