‘Carbs are bad for you.’

Biggest lie I’ve ever heard.

Carbs are great. So I’ve got a little more fluff than some other bakers. What can I say? I make amazing donuts, and the lines around the block every morning for a fresh dozen certainly attest to my skills. Go try a skinny bitch’s baked goods, and you’ll find them lacking.

Just ask my best customers: Ryden, Jack, Wyatt, and Brent. They’re self-professed
connoisseurs of confections, and they never miss my first batch.

My only problem is that my costs are too high to charge as little as larger chain bakeries, and the other customers start to complain when I try to raise my prices to stay afloat.

Will I have to give up on my sweet dreams, or will my half-baked plan rise to the occasion?
