Snow, Spells & Suspicions
(2026)(The sixth book in the Ancient Witch Trio Cozy Mystery series)
A novel by C L McCormick
Snowed In, Cut Off, and One Guest Is a Killer
A once-in-a-generation blizzard buries New Harmony, Arizona. Herbalist Chloe Blackwood keeps the only light burning for thirty miles, and four strangers follow it to her door.
Five centuries of noticing what others miss have taught Chloe to file every detail in her mental drawers.
Her psychic calico, Splotch, senses something wrong in one quiet guest.
Her fluffy doodle, Pillow, won't go near him but can't stop comforting his frightened wife.
Her gifted apprentice, Melody, hears it all.
Then the sheriff arrives on foot with news of a Colorado murder. Suspicion lands on the dazed husband, the dead man's own great-nephew, and on a gruff trucker the rich old victim once cheated.
Someone creeps out at 2 a.m.
Handsome handyman Chet starts seeing more than Chloe can explain. And the closer she gets to the truth, the closer a killer sits to her woodstove.
When the plows break through, a killer drives free, unless Chloe digs up the truth first.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
