Prairie Rose

1912. Working as a schoolteacher on the Canadian prairie, Paula Scott is courted by Jake Marriott, the father of one of her pupils. Her friends consider him a good catch, but Paula is secretly in love with Charles Ingram. Charles, however, is engaged to selfish society beauty Lola King.
