Stacey and her friends have banded together to purchase a Thrilling Crimes Murder Weekend for Alice's birthday. The package includes a sumptuous all-in stay at an old villa in the country and each attendee has been given the profile of a character with a backstory, a role she will play for the duration of the weekend.
However, the women's quirky and relaxed weekend away from the stresses of domestic life soon takes a turn towards the sinister.
