Ten years after David Evans was committed to Dunbar Psychiatric Hospital following the brutal slaying of one of his doctors, he obtains his release papers and is granted his freedom. Now only a shell of the man he used to be, David moves back to Carlton Slopes to live with his sister Daisy. However, it is not long before his childhood friend returns to his thoughts, this time in a monstrous new form that immediately takes control of the weakened man's mind and actions.
