While camping in Glacier National Park, eleven-year-old Rosie wakes to smoke and chaos, and though she and her family manage to escape a raging forest fire, she soon discovers her young pup, Freckles, has run away in panic!

Rosie and her little brother, Dylan, and little sister, Cricket, begin the search for the dog, but they quickly find much more than they bargained for in the shape of a huge grizzly protecting her cubs. That’s just the beginning of their adventures, which include searching for a scientist who’s gone missing while studying a mysterious glacier that no one else can find, even though they have its exact coordinates—where did it go?

At least they have Magpie, Dylan's tuxedo comfort cat, to help show them the way, even though sometimes her way turns out to be the more hair-raising one! Through it all, Rosie finds she’s much braver than she thought, as are her brother and sister, and they soon learn there’s much more to the park than meets the eye in the form of wild animals and even a huge ice cave!

Come join the Tuxedo Cat Kids on an adventure through Glacier that also teaches about the natural world of a most-beloved national park. A book for kids age eight and up and adventurous adults.

This is the second in the Tuxedo Cat Kids Series, each book being a stand-alone read with the same central characters.
