Rory Kyle and his family were slaughtered by a ruthless gang of outlaws determined to steal their land. Left for dead on the frontier, Rory’s story should have ended there. But when a neighboring Apache tribe resurrects him through ancient rites, Rory is given a second chance—one bound by blood and shadow.
Now, with his time on earth slipping away, Rory must hunt down each outlaw who destroyed his family and deliver brutal frontier justice before his tether to life is severed forever. If he fails, his loved ones will be lost for eternity.
Originally published in A Journey Through Thorns, this Author’s Cut expands the tale into an even darker, grittier, and more violent vision of the Old West—a place where death is never final, vengeance rides on restless spirits, and justice is written in blood.
Perfect for fans of The Dark Tower, Bone Tomahawk, and supernatural western revenge tales, this story blends the grit of classic westerns with the horror of the occult in a savage ride through the frontier’s darkest heart.
Genre: Horror
