Abducted by aliens and taken across the galaxy to be integrated into a sinister Darvel hive mind, Ben Barkwell thought his life was over. After a series of horrific surgeries to prepare him for integration, he’d run out of hope.
But his cellmate gives him a chance at salvation, and Ben will make his escape from the Darvel and try to hide out in the nearest inhabited system.
Unfortunately, the Darvel might be the least dangerous aliens he comes across, but Ben has one big advantage: his surgical enhancements gave him the ability to crack complex encryption, so he can solve the locking codes and steal any spaceship.
