Whispers of witchcraft flow on the breeze across an ancient island.

After devoting many years to protecting his adoptive family, Alikan has found is true passion in life; healing, and teaching. Assigned to the Eldenian Island of Mantu, he grasps the opportunity to train his own son, Merin, in the ways of the Ravens. They find themselves immediately thrown into a web of political intrigue and heartbreak, in a court of secrets, grudges, and discontent. Whilst trying to protect and guide his apprentices, Alikan attempts to untangle the truth… then magic seeps through a land where it isn’t welcome.
Dreams haunt him, grace tempts his heart and tests his morality. Can Alikan hold fast and save himself and those he cares for, or will the island of Mantu drag him into its dark well of power?

‘Give me monsters to slay. Anything but politics.’
