Just the right pitch of drama with fanstasy and escapism. Don't look for anything too serious or deep or grand literature. Set in a time slip genre, the main heroines' journey back through time is filled with adventure, romance and atmosphere. Nothing too graphic, violent or dark, which was a relief because I really did just want a good entertaining book. This was neither too trashy or too heavy.
And some of the most classic scenes are actually historically accurate. (won't say which ones ;-))
