Over Her Head

(2002)
A novel by

Lana West, a high school teacher, has plans to spend a quiet summer doing anything but being around teenagers. But when she meets, Mark Branson, the church's new youth director, he somehow cajoles her to be the female of chaperone for the church's summer youth activities. Soon Lana finds herself knee deep in bowling and horseback riding, a far cry from her summer plans. Mark, too, wonders why he continues to find the spirited, humorous, yet bull-headed, woman so appealing until he realizes the challenge leads him to understand his own life decisions and to face the woman of his dreams. When he ropes Lana into summer camp counseling, she faces life head-on and finds herself elbow-deep in soap suds, up to her neck in poison ivy and over her head in love.
