Being the single mom of a teenage daughter isn’t easy, but Lyndsey wouldn’t have it any other way. She has dedicated her life to making sure Marley wants for nothing, which includes saving up to buy her daughter a fancy new show horse.
But things don’t quite go to plan, and instead of a new horse for Marley, Lyndsey ends up with a surprise horse of her own. He’s quirky, opinionated, and sometimes unpredictable.
Her coach, Paula, has made it clear that he doesn’t fit in at the posh stable where Lyndsey rides, and Lyndsey is starting to wonder if she fits in there either.
Caught between her increasingly hostile coach and the difficulty of handling her challenging new horse, Lyndsey knows that she needs to find a solution, and fast. Luckily, she meets some new friends who help her out when things are at their worst.
The Half-Halt Sisterhood series follows the interwoven stories of the adult riders of Sunnyside Stables as they navigate real-world struggles while holding onto the horses that they love.
