The path to becoming an author is never a straight line. Mine led me through the military, college, and academia. At different points in my life I have been called Son, Dad, Husband, Sir, and Coach, and they all contributed to who I am as an writer.
I grew up reading classic science fiction and hoped to follow in the footsteps of Asimov and Heinlein, but my time in the military steered both me and my writing in a different direction.
Writing the Kate Malone books has been a journey of joy, frustration, doubt, hope, and fulfillment.
The first one has been released into the world and more will follow.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as did writing them.
