On Halloween night in 1987, five children go trick-or-treating. Only three of them return. Twenty years later, with their lives irrevocably changed for the worse, the three survivors, each scarred in their own particular way, return to the scene of the crime to try and save those they lost. The only thing standing between them is an ancient Halloween spirit with a sweet tooth and a penchant for lopsided bargains.
