Dovie Pearce couldn’t remember a time when she had ever felt so cold. At least she had stopped shivering, so maybe that was a sign that it was getting warmer outside. She was sure that help would come any minute. It was her own fault really, the radio had said a blizzard was coming, but never in a million years did she think it would get this bad and come in so quickly.

She really didn’t have a choice, Alice’s baby was in trouble, or at least she thought it was. It didn’t matter now, Ellie knew they had gone to the doctor and she would send the fellas out to search. The funny thing was, Dovie didn’t think they were that far from home. The snow was blowing so fiercely, she had lost all her landmarks, so there was no way she could walk to Quail Crossings. It was best to stay put and wait for help. It would come.... but would it come in time?

Warmth at Quail Crossings is a touching story about family, love, and the challenges that come with life. With relatable characters and a charming small-town setting, readers will be drawn into the world of the Quail Crossings family, rooting for them every step of the way.
