Christmas is cancelled. After spending the last two hiding bodies and uncovering killers, Anna is leaving all responsibility for her children, in-laws and Christmas cheer with her husband. After being buzzed in and patted down (because God forbid the public lock eyes on the tombola before The Big Day) Anna goes about her duties, until Head Teacher Tom Prendergast is found strangled with bunting.

The police are calling it an accident. But when Anna notices that the murder weapon doesn’t match the very specific bunting design on her clipboard, she ends up are knee-deep in tinsel, tea urns and PTA politics, untangling a web of petty vendettas that would make Santa weep…
