Callie Sutton, new to Texas, had just moved into the Victorian home she had inherited from a distant aunt. It had been empty and in disrepair for thirty years. Ghostly sounds in the house on her first night made Callie extremely uneasy. She didn't believe in ghosts. The single red rose she found lying on top her kitchen table the next morning made her insides tightened. Her 911 call brought Sheriff Brendan Trask to her door.
