Jambo Liar
(2027)(The first book in the Swamp Lies series)
A novel by Addilyn Lacasse and Kathryn Mykel
A man in hiding. A body in the bayou. This is no time to fish for friends.
Rip LeClair isn’t here to make friends. He’s in Jambo, Florida—a swamp-side town full of gators, gossip, and people who say ‘bless your heart’ before ruining your life.
After flipping on his former poaching crew, Rip landed in Witness Protection with a fake name, a leaky boat, and strict instructions to keep his head down. But when a body turns up in the shallows with Rip’s name written on it, keeping quiet is no longer an option.
Everyone’s watching the new guy, and Rip has to solve a murder without blowing his cover—or getting dragged back into the criminal life he’s trying to forget.
A gritty, fast-paced mystery with bite. Fans of Colin Conway's Cozy Up series, offbeat small towns, and sharp-tongued antiheroes will love Jambo Liar.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
