Yet another page turner from Keith McCafferty. From the beginning where we come across the haunting image of an eyeless girl trapped in a chimney up to the conclusion we are led through a troubled family's life sharing their agony. As usual there are the sub-plots and red herrings. For me each Stranahan novel becomes more engaging and more entertaining - it does have it's frustrations in the form of Sean and Martha's relationship but that's life!
