Some secrets stay buried for a reason...
A forty-year-old body walled up in a London basement. A missing intelligence archive that could bring down a government. A kidnapped teenager who doesn't know he's already sealed his own fate...
When DS Brenna Martin is handed a cold case nobody else wants, she doesn't expect it to lead back to Franco's Spain, a dirty war fought in the shadows of terrorism, and questions about her own father.
As the pressure grows, the web of players increases, from Spanish intelligence, British spies, and a criminal network descended from older forms of violence. Brenna realises that she hasn't been assigned this case by chance: she is the only person who can't afford to stop digging. And as the closer she gets to THE LONDON CACHE, the closer she gets to the truth about her own past.
Some secrets are buried for a reason. Brenna's about to find out why.
