I've been in love with my best friend for as long as I can remember. We've known each other our entire lives and no matter how many times I try to convince myself a relationship would be a bad idea, I can't seem to walk away from her. It doesn't matter that she deserves someone better than me, I can't let her go. After one bad night on the ice, my agent demands I find a fake girlfriend to help my image. I don't want to use her like this, but she's the only woman I can imagine having on my arm. Maybe I can convince her to give me a real shot before this is all over.

He's always been my best friend. The one man I go to no matter what's going on in my life. When he became a professional hockey player, I thought I'd lose him, but he never left me behind. He's always kept me right there with him. Close, but not quite as close as I want to be. When he needs someone to be his fake girlfriend, I jump at the chance. I just need to know what it would be like to be loved by Jax Robinson, even if I know it's fake. This might be my only chance to see what it would be like.
