I'm the new girl in town.
New town, new me, new big empty house.
All I have is a couch, and an obsession with vintage stores.
But things are getting expensive.
I almost paid 400 bucks for a secondhand table with only three legs.
But then I meet a local guy. A carpenter.
Big. Hot. Older.
Tall. Dark. Tattooed.
Dean.
He builds beautiful, custom furniture meant to last a lifetime.
And when he steps inside my new big empty house, he starts taking measurements.
I can't afford his stuff, but he insists.
And he starts showing up with all sorts of things.
A table for the breakfast nook...
A nightstand for my reading lamp...
A bed...for sleeping.
And every time he shows up at my door, I want him to stay.
For good.
Dean doesn't just look at my house like he knows exactly what it needs.
He looks at me that way, too.
And he has no intention of leaving once the job is done.
He isn't going anywhere.
Time to christen this place properly.
We better get started.
There are a lot of bedrooms in this house.
Steamy instalove.
I hope you love it.
xx,
Lauren
