I was never supposed to open it.
The grimoire has been locked for centuries—sealed by blood, guarded by fear, hidden deep in my family’s archives like a wound we never speak of. But grief makes you reckless. Heartbreak makes you hungry. And I was tired of obeying the silence.

So I called to the shadows. And something answered.

Now he’s here. Ash—dark, boundless, otherworldly. A spirit of heat and hunger and whispered commands. He says he’s mine for the night, that I summoned him with nothing but longing and need. But I don’t know if I control this magic… or if it’s unraveling me.

I should be afraid.
But I’ve never felt so alive.
